Country mainly has a subtropical and desert climate, with opposite seasons than in Europe. The weather is characterized by big differences in the temperature from day to night.
It is good to visit this country all year round, but best months for travelling are July, August, September and October, if your main focus is wildlife.
Between December and March, some days will be humid and rain may follow, often in localized, afternoon thunderstorms. Wildlife viewing in all parks, but especially in Etosha, is best in the Dry season from June to October.
